University of Tennessee Medical Center Sevierville Medical Office Building
Located in Sevierville, TN, this 40,238 sq. ft. new medical office building includes chemotherapy, imaging, urgent care, and physician office suites to provide a wide range of health care modalities. The facility was constructed into a hillside and provides walk-up access to both levels.
The UT Medical Center medical office building in Sevierville was designed as a prototype medical facility that could be modified and replicated at satellite locations. Given the nature of the site, each floor of the building is equipped with a designated vehicle drop-off and entry, which is a great advantage in the functionality of the program placement. Urgent care is located on the east side of the building and can be accessed 24-hours while the remainder of the building can be closed off after hours. The chemotherapy suite contains a ten-bay infusion area as well as exam functions. The physician office suites are organized to share a common waiting area, while allowing individual entries into each suite, thus providing individuality while maximizing efficiency of space.
Johnson & Galyon was selected through a competitive proposal process because of our extensive healthcare experience and our track record of meeting critical budgets and schedules. Critical attention was focused on the schedule as physicians were to begin seeing patients in the new facility in December 2014. Johnson & Galyon met all schedule and budget goals set at the beginning of the project.
