Blackberry Mountain

Transforming the rugged natural landscape of the Three Sisters Mountains into an exclusive luxury resort was no small feat. Innumerable hours of careful analysis and planning were required to develop roads, integrate utilities, and create pathways and building structures that seamlessly blend into the existing topography and landscape. Although new, all aspects of the resort were constructed to either compliment the mountain or appear as if they have been a part of it for decades.

Amenity, guest experience, and service buildings that occupy Blackberry Mountain include:

  • The Lodge: A 21,525 sq. ft. building with meeting space, spa and wellness center, heated infinity edge pool, and a 221-seat flagship restaurant built around a custom-designed, underground wine cellar.
  • The Firetower Restaurant: A 1,513 sq. ft. restaurant located at the peak of the mountain, at an elevation of 2,843 feet, and built around a restored 1940s fire tower.
  • The Hub: Two buildings (8,700 sq. ft. and 6,192 sq. ft.) that serve as the property’s activity center. Activities include a learning kitchen, arts and crafts space, a gym with a half basketball court, and an indoor rock-climbing wall.

Accommodations include:

  • Wood Cabins: Traditional-style 675 sq. ft. wood cabins built into the side of the ridge and made from reclaimed wood and native stone harvested on the mountain.
  • Stone Cottages: One-bedroom, green roofed stone cottages constructed on a rocky ridge that range from 1,200 to 1,475 sq. ft. and feature stacked stone archways, iron windows, reclaimed oak floors, white rough-sawn walls, and lime-washed oak ceilings.
  • Multi-Bedroom Homes: These homes range from 2,290 to 4,461 sq. ft. and feature exterior walls with site-harvested stone, reclaimed wood, and cedar shake roofing.
