University of Tennessee Campus Beautification

The University of Tennessee (UTK) campus initiated multiple beautification projects to add greater appeal to campus areas. With decorative pavers, benches, seat walls, lighting and sidewalks, UTK has created a more inviting atmosphere in areas such as the Engineering Quad, Torchbearer Plaza, Lake Loudon Intersection improvements and the Ayres Hall North Slope. These changes coincide with UTK’s desire to become a more walkable campus by drawing attention to crosswalks and providing sidewalks along common paths.
