Ellen Fowler

Since 1987, Ellen Fowler has been an instrumental part of the Johnson & Galyon team, having first served as a project manager and now as a senior estimator and corporate secretary.   

Ellen has worked on a wide array of notable projects throughout her career, including Volunteer Landing, East Tennessee History Center, East Tennessee Veterans Memorial, Knoxville Transit Center, Walters State Community College – Greeneville Campus, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, and the Episcopal School of Knoxville, among others. 

Ellen is a graduate of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2002. She is an active member of the Executive Women’s Association and the Rotary Club of Downtown Knoxville. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians and is a former board member of the East Tennessee Foundation.   

Ellen Fowler attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, as well as Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science.   

Ellen and her husband, Gordon, currently live in Knoxville and have three children: James, Mary Jo, and Aubin.
