Bob Perry

Bob joined Johnson & Galyon in 1984 as a project superintendent and quickly progressed through a variety of assignments, including project manager and director of operations. In 2018, Bob was promoted to vice president of field operations. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of field operations. He works closely with our superintendents and their teams, providing leadership and direction to all field personnel on each of Johnson & Galyon’s projects. This ensures compliance with the schedule, defined quality standards, and most importantly, the safety of each person on the job site.

Bob uses the lessons he has learned throughout his career to continually improve processes in the field. His ability to anticipate challenges results in far fewer problems that have to be solved on behalf of our clients. His knowledge of complex building systems is a major factor in the success of our clients’ projects.

Bob has overseen the construction of some of East Tennessee’s marquee projects and worked with a variety of clients including the University of Tennessee, Commercial and Investment Properties, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Public Building Authority of Knox County, and the City of Knoxville and Tree Tops Resort, among others.

Bob and his wife, Linda, reside in Knoxville and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren: Alex, Addison, and Zane.
