University of Tennessee Medical Center Lenoir City Medical Office Building

A 47,698 sq. ft. new medical office building located in Lenoir City, TN was constructed for the University of Tennessee Medical Center. This building includes outpatient imaging, physical therapy, chemotherapy, lab services, primary care offices, patient rooms and time-share office suites. The chemotherapy suite contains a ten-bay infusion area and exam spaces.

The UT Medical Center Medical Office Building in Lenoir City was designed as a prototype medical facility that could be modified and replicated at satellite locations. The facility includes outpatient imaging, physical therapy, chemotherapy, lab services, primary care offices and patient rooms, and even time-share office suites. The chemotherapy suite contains a ten-bay infusion area and exam spaces. The physician office suites are organized to share a common waiting area, while allowing individual entries into each suite, maximizing the available space while still allowing for privacy and individuality.

The Lenoir City Medical Office Building was a fast-tracked and developer-led project that was completed in the spring of 2017. The Johnson & Galyon Estimating Department provided value analysis options to assist in bringing the project in at an acceptable budget.
