Westwood House

Johnson & Galyon performed restoration and rehabilitation on the 5,860 sq. ft. Westwood House so that it could be used as a museum of historic preservation. The scope of work included structural stabilization, new building systems (electric, plumbing, HVAC and fire sprinkler), masonry restoration, carpentry restoration, wood floor restoration, plaster restoration, window restoration, miscellaneous cosmetic repairs and extensive site redevelopment.

The Historic Westwood House on Kingston Pike, originally constructed in 1890, is a Baumann Brothers-designed home listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
